Our story dates back to a time where bread was served stale or days after being baked; health of customers was not of any concern, bread was made with rampant use of preservatives, additives, and softeners.
Our founder, Mr Chew Chu Phu couldn’t bear the sight of the industry and began his journey to revolutionize the industry by leading by example. On 6th October 2013, Mr Roti began operations in Bukit Indah. Unlike other bakeries at the time, Mr Roti provided freshly baked bread throughout the day, and eliminated the use of preservatives, additives, and softeners in the bread making process, using only the finest natural ingredients.
Despite it not being an easy journey, we strongly believe that consumers deserve better. Slowly, Mr Roti business grew and over the years, we garnered a strong customer base that agreed with our methods. Not only that, many bakeries and competitors began to follow our footsteps and provide a better product for the consumers.
Not satisfied with what Mr Roti had achieved, we aim to stay ahead of the crowd through innovations. Throughout the years, in order to bring even healthier and more natural bread to the masses, Mr Roti eliminated the use of trans-fat as early as 2015, and incorporated the usage of natural yeast in our bread making process. We look forward to staying ahead and bringing the best to our customers through our innovative and creative thinking.
As a local brand, we are proud of our Malaysian heritage. With our innovative research and development, Mr Roti serves a large number of highly localised and unique buns. We look towards a day when we will be able to spread our culture across the world.
